The Extended Care Program is a school supervised program that includes both Before Care and After Care for an hourly fee.  Extended Care Registration Form/Contract

Before Care is open to all students in Pre-K beginning at 7:30 AM. 

After Care is open to all students in grades PreK-8 from 2:30-6:00 PM daily on most full days and 12:00 -6:00 PM on most 1/2 days. Students should bring lunch on 1/2 days. 

There is no After Care on 1/2 days before the Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter breaks and other select days.

Students will be playing in the gym on days during rainy or cold days.

ALL STUDENTS MUST HAVE SNEAKERS IN ORDER TO PLAY IN THE GYM.

Students are welcome to bring a change a clothes for aftercare and will be allowed to change at a designated time.

The After Care Program offers snacks, enrichment, outside play time, use of the gym, intramural basketball and kickball, yoga, supervised/guided homework, tutoring, study and reading time, arts & crafts, board games, SmartBoard activities, Friday Cinema, and supervised computer access.

The typical After Care Program schedule is:

Pre-K and Kindergarten

2:15 - 2:30 - Attendance (Room 8)

2:30 - 3:00 - Read-A-Loud/Enrichment Activity (Room 8)

3:00 - 3:30 - Craft (Room 8)

3:30 - 4:00 - Snack (Room 8)

4:00 - 4:30 - Physical Exercise (Gym/Outside)

4:30 - 5:30 - Classroom Play Time (Room 8)

5:30 - 6:00 - Clean up/Pick up (Room 8/Library)

Grades 1 - 3

2:15 - 2:30 - Attendance (Cafeteria) - All students should have a book to read during attendance.

2:30 - 3:00 - Snack (Cafeteria)

3:00 - 3:30 - Read-A-Loud/Enrichment Activity (Library)

3:30 - 4:00 - Physical Exercise(Gym/Outside)

An Extended Care Registration Form/Contract form must be completed for each student attending Before or After Care. Extended Care Registration Form/Contract

Prepayment and sibling discounts are offered.

Prompt pick up is at 6:00 PM. 

Students may be picked up by an authorized adult specified on the enrollment form.

Students must be signed out before they leave.

Students not signed out will be charged for a full afternoon session.

Cost for the Program: $11/hour for one child

$19/hour for two or more children

Prepayment Savings*: $ 9/hour for one child

$15/hour for two or more children

* Please not that prepayments must be received by the 20th of the preceding month.

LATE POLICY 

If a parent/guardian will be late picking up, he/she should notify the School.  Children will be supervised by a staff member until pick up.
A penalty fee of $10.00 per quarter hour will be charged for lateness.  Payment must be made in cash and is due at the time of pick-up.  Exact change is appreciated.  This fee is due regardless of the reason for the delay.  The penalty period begins exactly when the child’s program ends and is applicable for both half and full day children.  Excessive lateness may result in dismissal from the program.
